#400 Vintage Adidas

This ashtray, marked 'Made in W. Germany,' can be dated to the late 1970s to early 1980s. During this period, smoking and related promotional items were still socially acceptable in sports contexts. The Trefoil logo, introduced by Adidas in the 1970s, combined with the minimalist, functional design and the use of matte blue plastic, typical of the era, further supports this timeframe. Products marked 'Made in W. Germany' were produced between 1949 and 1990, during the time when Germany was divided into West and East Germany. The 'W. Germany' label was used to distinguish products from West Germany, which had a different political and economic system from East Germany.
