#106 - Lighter Hold Fast

Hand engraved windproof lighter with custom engraved initials. The lettering is cut by hand with a sharp graver into the metal.

The words “Hold fast“ refer to a traditional sailor’s tattoo being placed on the four front-facing fingers on each hand. Sailors hope it brings them good luck while gripping the rigging. “Holding fast“ means the sailor isn't going to let the line go, no matter what. Life on a sailing ship was tough so these words became a synonym of perseverance in difficult times. Vintage style patina.

The lighter comes with an insert which has to be filled by you with lighter fuel. We also offer an additional single jet flame insert for an odourless flame - this has to be filled by you with butane gas.

Up to 3 uppercase letters are possible, letters will always be separated with a dot.
