Great to visit the Museum of Needle Manufactory in Stolberg "Zinkhütter Hof". The region around Aachen was the centre of needle production in Germany. For using our chainstitch and freemotion embroidery machine we need exactly these rare needles from Leo Lammertz, Beissel or Schmetz. These needles are not produced anymore. The machines in the Museum are from Beissel – the first needle manufacturer in Europe est. in 1730, closed in 1993.
